I saw my future in my mind's eyes. I saw it clearly in my spirit, but I did not know how to get there. My heart told me where my future was, but I didn't know how to get there still.
My life's journey in the last forty years has been in search of the future I saw that quiet night, while I lay curled up on a mat, and on several other lightless nights on the
balcony of our face-to-face, old-fashioned house. I saw the future as bright and full as the new moon but realized my legs might not reach it unless a supernatural force led me on.
So, I share these personal stories, humbled by the fact that self-discovery is an unending journey, with the hope that as I continue to negotiate self, in search of continued clarity of God's will for me, step upon step, precept by precept, receiving light from His light, that you also will find the courage to love, laugh and live to the fullest of God's purpose and mandate for your life.
